When I first moved over to Spain I used to collect all the stamps off our mail and send them to a friend who used them to raise funds for a charity. Sadly she passed away early last year and since then I have never known what to do with my stamps. Only today the conversation came up so I decided to 'Google' charities that take used stamps and how they make any money from them! I must say I was quite suprised how many charities take them! I am going start saving them again and pass them on (one way to do my 'bit' as I can't afford to give money).
So next time you open the mail, why not think about keeping an envelope handy and just slip your stamps inside it, once full post to your chosen charity! - not hard is it!!!!
